Phil Scangas attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2010. Upon graduation, Phil worked as a Design Engineer for Schick Wilkinson Sword for six months before accepting an engineering position at General Electric Aviation in Lynn, MA. After working in GE’s Compressor Design Division for two years, Phil decided to go back to school to pursue an interest in television and radio broadcasting. After attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting 2012-2013, Phil accepted a position as a Digital Content Producer with Entercom Boston, where he worked extensively on website development and video production.

In 2015, Phil joined QSG as the Digital Content Manager and also quickly revamped the QSG website. While working on the site, Phil developed an interest in writing MA Workforce Training Fund Grants. Since 2016, Phil has written over $8.9M worth of grants for QSG clients!
