With over 30 years of experience, Joseph DeCarlo is a senior executive with a background in quality, sales, business development, marketing, and operations who helps organizations identify and capitalize on market opportunities to build revenue. Joseph has presented over 2000 training and consulting sessions; implemented and provided consulting support for Quality management systems for hundreds of organizations, at all levels; trained over 18,000 individuals; and conducted hundreds of assessments of organizations to determine business process improvement opportunities.
Joseph’s major achievements include:
- Providing extensive Quality Management systems training and implementation for Medical, Pharma, chemical, automotive, and Aerospace companies to ISO 13485, GMP and ISO 9001, ISO 17025, IATF 16949, MDD, and IVD at Oriel Statamatrix
- As Vice President of Professional Services at SAI GLOBAL, conducting executive training, coaching, and assessments events for hundreds of Fortune 500 companies
- Implementing QMS systems to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, TS 16949, and ISO 17025 QMS in hundreds of organizations, including Dow, WL Gore, PRI International, J&J, Swagelok, GM, Boston Scientific, GKN, & Covidien, Chrysler, and FORD
- As a Division Manager at Quality TUV Rhineland of North America, helping to establish TUV’s Quality Systems Group that was responsible for conducting quality assessment and training programs in North America
- As a Product Safety Engineer for Underwriters Laboratories, conducting safety testing and certification of all types of electrical products for safety compliance to domestic and international standards
Joseph holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and has completed studies in Engineering Management at CW Post. In addition, he has presented working sessions at Harvard University, Northeastern University, Columbia University, Central Connecticut State University, and Fairfield University. Joseph is a trained Wish Granter and volunteer with Make*A* Wish Foundation of Connecticut, past Executive Chairman for Danbury, CT – ASQ, and Exemplar Global 01613 since 1994.
