Gary is an exceptional leader with extensive international and domestic experience with engineering management and consulting, process improvement, and entrepreneurship. He has worked as a technical business manager in large to small companies in multiple industries and demonstrated consistent success collaborating with sales, marketing, sourcing, operations and multidisciplinary engineering teams across regions and internationally.
Gary’s experience includes managing large-scale engineering projects with engineering and design teams in the United States, Sweden, and India, requiring expertise in thermal, fluid flow, and static analysis, and regulatory compliance to chemicals (vis-a-vis RoHS 3, REACH, CA Prop 65, CE, etc.). He has solved “mysteries”of adhesion process with a 6-Factor, Factorial Designed Experiment, and led VSM design process evaluation and Lean R&D Kaizen events.
Gary founded a successful engineering consulting business solving thermal, structural, fluid flow, strength of materials and combustion design challenges. He is an expert problem solver using electrical and mechanical engineering technology aided by DOE and statistics.
Gary holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
