Bob has over 40 years of manufacturing experience in the semiconductor industry. In that time he has held senior management positions in industrial engineering, process engineering, package assembly, manufacturing, quality, and reliability. He has also worked as a senior staff member and consulting engineer in quality and reliability in between managerial assignments.
Bob has spearheaded new business opportunities within a large corporation. He also has significant experience in process development and certification, process transfer, new product introduction into manufacturing, quality system design and assessment, corrective and preventative actions, process change control, non-conforming material, process and product yield analysis, statistical process control, and failure analysis in a multi-factory environment
Bob’s areas of training and consulting expertise include ISO 9001 & AS9100, Risk Based Thinking (RBT) including ISO 31000 and ISO 14971, Medical Device Expertise, Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean, Corrective Action and Problem Solving (8D), clean room consulting, semiconductor fabrication, packaging, and test, semiconductor reliability physics, and new product and process introduction into manufacturing.
Bob has a B.S. and M.S. in Metallurgy and Material Science from Lehigh University.
