Brian L. Whitehouse is a consultant and educator who specializes in teaching the Lean Six Sigma principle and management control and reporting systems. Brian has 30 years management and consulting experience and has held various management positions with global firms. His experience in delivering sustained financial and operational improvements includes global programs in Process Excellence Deployments, Operational & Organizational Effectiveness, Lean, Behavior Change, Asset Management (OEE & Maintenance), Advanced Product Quality Planning, Statistical Process Control, waste elimination, structured problem solving and cost reduction.
His clients come from a wide variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, telecommunications electronics, injection molding, and consumer products, and he has also worked with service organizations insurance companies, and government agencies. His work includes coaching performance improvements with both individual executives and project teams. Brian has worked with manufacturing and service organizations throughout North America, Europe, Australia, and in New Zealand.
Brian’s area of training and consulting expertise include leading lean six sigma manufacturing initiatives, facilitating technical problem solving activities, and managing projects. Brian has trained and certified over 250 Green Belts and 75 Black Belts. He has extensive experience training and leading teams through process mapping, value stream mapping, waste elimination, Kaizen events and other lean six sigma initiatives.
Brian is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and has had extensive training and over ten years of practical experience with Lean Manufacturing. He has completed the Excel Partnership Certified ISO 9001:1994 Lead Auditor Training with an emphasis on QS9000. He received his B.S. in Business Management and A.S. in Industrial Engineering from Zane Trace University.
