Mr. Rubino has over 30 years of manufacturing experience including 10 years as a Senior Lean consultant. He is a Certified Master Black in Lean who has trained and certified personnel at all levels of an organization. He has worked with numerous companies in various industries in the development of their lean transformation programs. He has facilitated and implemented in excess of 100 kaizen events resulting in tangible benefits to the client directly impacting the bottom line.
His expertise is in Lean functional and transaction process analysis, NPI, capacity modeling, space programming and systematic facility design, material handling system design, and project management.
Prior to joining QSG Mr. Rubino served as the Continuous Improvement Manager and Lean Champion for Cambridge Technology. In this role he was heavily involved in the development and execution of the company Lean Road Map which was used to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. His role was to facilitate and lead Kaizen for key functional and transactional business processes.
He also managed project teams in the implementation and refinement of critical business processes. Working at the highest levels of the organization he has provided the expertise in the implementation of lean manufacturing, world class quality and best in class methodologies to drive continuous improvement efforts.
Mr. Rubino holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He has also obtained certifications from Methods Time Management in (MTM) , Mass MEP as a Top Gun Trainer in Lean, and the Logistics Institute at Georgia Tech for Systematic Layout Planning and Facility Design.
Mr. Rubino is a member of SME, IIE, AME and Warehouse Education and Research Council.
